April 6 to 8, 2018 A fun weekend of Canberra based scootering, it was great. The weather was perfect, the rides were fun and we had good people from Adelaide, Brisbane, Tasmania, and more attend. It was sponsored by Motorini Scooters - celebrating 20 years in business - with help from the awesome Canberra Swarm Scooter Club
Midday: Meet at Motorini scooters at 10 Botany Street in Phillip (see the rides page)
1pm: Ride starts at Motorini and will travel to the Tidbinbilla tracking station and stop at the Moonrock Cafe. Afterwards back to Cotter reserve then left onto Brindabella Road, over Uriarra crossing and on to the Arboretum to regroup, ride ends at the Alivio Tourist Park.
5 to 7pm Check in to the Rally at the Alivio tourist park.
7pm ride to Braddon for dinner (or self cater) see the map below
9pm - Meet back at the Alivio Park for a casual get together and drinks
SATURDAY
Breakfast options - self cater or head to the Dickson Shops, plenty of options here from bakeries, McDonalds, or Sfoglia.com.au for coffee and Italian Cakes
9:30 Ride starts from the Dickson Shops Shell service station (see the rides page) This ride is a Canberra Tour - If you are keen to do something in specific in Canberra this weekend, Saturday morning is your chance to do your own thing and catch up with everyone at the lunch stop or for the afternoon ride.
12 to 2pm, Goldcreek for lunch - lots of options here, the obvious being the George Harcourt Inn.
2pm ride from Gold Creek to Bungendore via Nanima Road. Back via Macs Reef road.
7:30 pm Dinner is at the Lyneham OLD CANBERRA INN. If you are planning to have a drink with dinner, and you are staying at the Alivio Park, the suggestion is to walk there from 7pm.
